Chandler Commons Tidal Waves Swim Team

The Tidal Waves had a great time last year even though we only won one meet and tied one meet. The year included a Malley’s Ice Cream Social, a movie in the pool, tons of good eats at the concession stand, and a tidal wave of fun in and out of the pool! Thanks to great coaches, outstanding parent volunteers, and kids who love to swim. Everyone had a great time. Even though the warm days of summer are still a way off, it’s never too early to start thinking about the 2012 season

We’re always looking for more swimmers to join the Tidal Waves!

It’s a fun way to meet new friends, exercise, cool off, and improve your swimming skills. Any child (18 or under as of June 1, 2012) that can swim the length of the pool un-aided and is a resident of Chandler Commons or The Trails are automatically eligible to join swim team. Grandchildren, nieces/nephews, cousins, or friends may also be eligible to swim with the Tidal Waves (please contact us if you have eligibility questions).

Other Important Information/Dates

• Practice will start June 4th. June 4-June 8 @ 6PM-8PM. June 11 to end of season 9AM–11AM. Swimmers are grouped by age and practice for each group will last one (1) hour.

• We will have informational meetings at the Chandler Commons Pavilion on Sunday April 22 from 2-4PM and Thursday April 26 from 6-8PM.

• Malley’s Fundraiser will kick-off in early March. 2011 Swim Team members will receive a form at home.

• Registration is due May 1, 2012. Refer a neighbor and receive a discount!
